Reka by Nexans’ product innovations attracted interest at the Sähkö Trade Fair
The largest Nordic electrical trade fair in Jyväskylä, Finland, had an impressive 13 084 visitors on 7-9 February 2024, which also attracted a large crowd to the joint stand of Reka by Nexans and Nexans. ”People were clearly more engaged and there seemed to be more visitors than last time,” described Tapio Laitinen, Sales Director of Reka by Nexans in Finland.
Sähkö Trade Fair 2024 was special for Reka by Nexans and Nexans, as both companies’ products and services were on display at the same stand for the first time since Reka Cable became part of Nexans more than a year ago.
”It was great to do this for the first time together with Nexans,” said Laitinen. Nexans Finland’s Sales Manager Vesa Koivulahti agreed: ”It’s really positive that we represented together at the same booth.”
EQQ LiteRex was praised in the cable peeling competition
At our booth, the exhibition crowd was thrilled by the cable peeling speed competition, where participants were given EQQ LiteRex installation cable to peel. Ease and flexibility were emphasized in the responses when we asked the competitors for their opinions on the cable’s handling.

Mobiway – clickable unwinding system: ”Light and small, easy to use and easy to move around”
On our stand, the visitors were also able to test Mobiway, the clickable unwinding system. Mobiway generated a lot of interest, and we collected valuable feedback and suggestions for possible launch. Warm thanks for the feedback!
Those who responded to our feedback survey liked Mobiway the most for its lightness, small size, ease of use and easy portability. ”A really good and practical product for installers”, commented one electrical teacher about Mobiway on site at the fair.
